We Are A
This means you don't have to worry about who is doing what when and how they are doing it.
Building software is messy; coordinating deliverables between various skills and translating between developer-speak and business-speak, getting it right is hard.
At Mile Marker, we work as a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that your and your user's needs are met. We help refine the requirements, build the solution, and deliver a delightful experience.
Our Core Values
Fast is Better than Perfect
The key to delivering products fast is defining "Good Enough" and constantly refining that definition. Good Enough for a small start-up is very different than it is for an enterprise corporation, it is different for B2B than B2C, industries, brands, etc. Our goal is to build what you and your users need, not what we want.
Transparency Drives Success
Transparent teams are efficient teams and efficient teams are successful teams. We skip redundant check-ins and status meetings with work tracking just a click away. You know what were working on and we know what each other are working on without the need for synchronous communication.
Trust is at the root of everything we do. Without trust, we cannot achieve our goals and without communication, we cannot trust. Our work structure is designed to facilitate effective and frequent communication amongst ourselves and our clients.
Creation Through Integration
Instead of reinventing the wheel, we prefer to dream up what we can build using wheels. What makes us even more excited is when someone has already built a car from wheels and we can use the car. We believe we can create more by creating less and integrating whenever reasonable.
Meet the Team
Hey there, I'm Daniel (I go by both Dan and Daniel). I have been a CTO, CEO and Co-Founder of high growth start ups for the last 13 years. Working with a variety of teams across different industries is one of the perks I love most about Mile Marker. When I am not working most of my time is spent hiking, camping, and fishing.
My name is Taleah Levin and I am a 3rd year Consumer Behavior student with minors in design strategies and graphic design at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Aside from school and work, I enjoy listening to and playing music, making art, and spending time outdoors to go hiking, kayaking, skiing, or anything in between. My other passions include leadership, business, and philanthropy.
Hi I’m Caroline, I am a UW-Madison student double majoring in computer science and data science. I enjoy being able to create technology that can be used to help someone else. When I am not attending school I enjoy discovering new restaurants and relaxing with a good book.
Hey, I’m Raven! I come from a background of engineering and project management in theme parks and I am excited to apply the skills I’ve learned along the way to the software development process. In my free time I enjoy crafting, reading, video games, traveling, and spending time with my three dogs.
Sylvester is the name, Belly Rubs are my game. You'll catch me in the back of meetings supervising and providing perimeter checks to ensure no squirrels come too close to the house. I'm looking forward to barking during your meetings.
